STUDY AIM

 The COVID-19 pandemic has shown to have a profound and most unprecedented impact on the whole world. This global study aims to better understand the public health social impact of COVID-19 pandemic and the measures taken to prevent it on refugees and migrants around the world. Up till now there is very little information available on how COVID-19 is changing the lives of refugees and migrants and how they are dealing with the difficulties they face.

The results of this study will be used to inform and support policy makers and practitioners to support refugees and migrants deal with this global health crisis better. All publications will be made available or linked to on this website. ABOUT The Survey

​The survey contains 30 questions that can be answered within 15 minutes using a mobile phone or other handheld devices or laptops. It uses a simple language and has been translated into 37 languages. The questions cover socio-demographic details, experiences of COVID-19 and preventative measures. It also asks about daily stressors and stigma, psychosocial well-being, as well as coping strategies. The survey closed on 31st of October and no longer accessible. 

ETHICS and DATA privacy

Data generated from the survey is anonymous. It will be handled in ways that comply with the highest ethical standards for academic research.

Initiated to make a difference

We will make finding of this study available to the public through reports, our website, social media and engagement with key stakeholders. We will share findings with policy makers and practitioners around the world, providing them with the information needed to better support Migrants and Refugees during and after this global health crisis.
